Re: AQUASTERIL products reference
The Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Department of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the sponsor of the official humanitarian aid provided by the Czech Government abroad, hereby confirms that AQUASTERIL products, manufactured by AQUA PLUS s.r.o. and designed for the treatment of contaminated and non-potable water in order to make it fit for drinking, have recently been successfully used on several occasions within the framework of the humanitarian aid provided by the Czech Republic abroad. In the year 2001, they helped the people struck by the catastrophic floods in Ukraine (March 2001), Iran (September 2001) and Algeria (November 2001). AQUASTERIL products were also included in the material humanitarian aid for inland refugees prior to the war conflict in Iraq (March 2003) and for those affected by the strong earthquake in the Iranian city of Ban at the end of the year 2003. The above-mentioned products, distributed both by the official Czech rescue team and by Czech non-governmental organizations, were successfully applied in their destination, serving to protect the health and save the lives of the people affected by the natural disasters and war conflicts. Thus the Development Cooperation Department continues counting with the deliveries of the above-mentioned devices as a part of the provision of material humanitarian aid abroad, should this type of products be required by the other party.
